Pico de Gallo

5 medium tomatoes, diced
1/3 cup onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
1-4 jalapenos, some seeds removed
salt to taste
Juice of one lime
2 ice cubes
3 Tablespoons of snipped cilantro

Dice tomatoes and jalapenos and mix all ingredients except for cilantro. Due to the large amount of lime juice acting as a preservative, this salsa will keep for three days in the refrigerator. Add fresh cilantro at the last minute before serving so the leaves will not turn brownish.
Makes 3 cups.
